1. Clear your studying area of any distractions including phones, pets, or anything that will keep you from concentrating
2. Be somewhere quiet (I.e. A rarely used room, your bedroom, etc.)
3. Try reading whatever you have to study out loud. Saying something helps you remember it more than reading it
4. Try playing instrumental music (I.e. Classical music, movie scores, or karaoke versions of slower songs)
5. If you feel overwhelmed take a break (but not too long of one) and come back once you have cooled off. Frustration doesn't help memorization
